Dewa Athena | Sport Competition of SMAN 3 Bandung

HI Guys! Today i want to tell you about an event from my school.

You might be curious right? 

Wait, what? You don't want to know?

Well, YOU SHOULD READ IT ANYWAY! Let's begin XD

Dewa Athena is an event made by SMA Negeri 3 bandung. "Dewa" means "Male Greek God" and Athena is a Greek God of wisdom and strategy, Athena is female (for your information). However, Athena isn't the Goddess of Sport, The God of Sport in ancient Greek mythology is Hermes. So i think the name of the event wasn't compatible with the event itself. Anyway, Dewa Athena is a sport competition between classes of same generation in SMAN 3 Bandung. For 3’2018 generation, it held on Thursday, 23^rd of March till Friday, 24th of March 2017. For my generation, 3’2019, it held on 25^th of March, 1^st April, and the final will be held on next Saturday, 8th April. 

Saturday, 25^th of March, The event began at 7.30 a.m., however, I went to SMAN 3 at 5.30 and arrived at six. I know right, It was so early. For your information, It because I didn’t go to school by myself because my home is 14km far from my school, and I didn’t go with my parents because they went to East Java that time, so I was home alone for 3 days. I went to school with my neighbor, so I should went to SMAN 3 earlier. They were so kind to me, they gave me breakfast and forced me to tell them if i need to go somewhere, so they can pick me up. I feeling really grateful to them. So yeah, anyway, I waited for the event to begin for one and half hours. It was so boring and creepy at my school since I was alone there. Luckily, my friends who live closer to the school arrived, so I wasn’t alone anymore. We went to Lapangan Bali since the event would be held there. 

At 7.30 the event began, the whole students assembled with their own class. There was an “LO” , he is the one who will given us information about the game or competition that we should attend. The first two games were holding in the same time, so my class divided into 2 groups, one saw the Girls Badminton competition and the other saw Gobak Sodor competition. It’s okay if you don’t know what is gobak sodor, I think it is an typical game of asian or Malays. FYI, it is a game which need more than 2 peoples. It’s attended by 2 different groups. One groups guard the way to finish likes a gate and another groups attempted to go through them without getting touch from the other group. If the competitor reaches the finish, he/she should go back to the start by passing the other groups again, if it works, your groups will get a point for each member who can go back to the start. If 3 members or the whole members getting touch, the first round end and will be began again another round which the guard team on the 1^st round will be the evaders, or the one who attempted to go to the finish and back, and the other group who originally the evaders team on the 1^st round will be the guards. That was my explanation about Gobak Sodor, a bit too long I think .-. if you don’t understand what I explained just go search it on google :/ . Let’s just continue to the story.

My friends and I went to bangsal to see my friend who will be the badminton game participants. Sadly, They lose. I really want to play badminton since the last time I play was about 4 years ago. So, I played badminton outside with my friend and I really like to play it. After that my friends and I watched another game that my class joined like relay race, tug of war, volley, dodgeball and basket. I played the dodgeball game but we lose. I think I suck at this game :/. My class just won one game at that time, it was volley. Next volley round will be began next Saturday, 1^st April. I went back home by public transportation, total fee from my school to my house is 16.000 IDR, or about 1,6 USD. I know it wasn’t very important, just sharing some information with you guys lol. 

On Saturday, 1^st April, the event continued. It was a bad day for me, I don’t think you want to know lol, but I will tell you anyway. The day began with me who was late to go to school. Don’t think you want to know how late I was, it was 5 minutes late fyi :D. don’t worry, it wasn’t the worst thing on that day. That day, my class just need to attend a few game. That were volley, male badminton, and soccer. So, I just played some game with my friends that day like volley and badminton. The soccer competition which joined by my class lose. The opponent was X Science 11 or you can call it X Accel. The best player from the opponent I think was Ziyad, he is our ex-class members and Football Captain while in SMP (Junior High School). However, we won on the 1^st volley game that day and will be played again at 2 p.m. One of the player form my class, should played at badminton game first, and sadly they failed, they lose, so sad right?! Then we played the 2^nd volley game, I think it was semifinals. Our opponent was X Science 8. The first round we lose, the scores were really close L. However, the 2^nd round we won, yeayy. So it was tied and we held the 3^rd round. The 3^rd round we lose again the scores were 15-13, really close right? I was feel bad for my class because I was played the volley game, and you know what? I was so suck at that, I can’t even do serve or do pass. Yeah, I feel really bad L. The event ended at 3.30 p.m. But, after the event ended, I had another event with my extracurricular friends, and it was fun. I arrived at home at 7 p.m, it was the most exhausting day ever.

Hi Guys! Today i would like to tell about my activities last week (Saturday, 20th of August 2016)

My school held an event, that is WTTF. What is WTTF? WTTF is the abbreviation of "World Tournament x Techno Festival". It is a tournament between #32018 and #32019.

The story behind this tournament is: 

In the "Belitung Barat" galaxy, there are two planets, BB32018 and BB32019🔭🌌 Both of them have never encountered before. One day, they received an invitation to visit the planet O633🌓

Then, both of BB32018 and BB32019 accepted the invitation. Unfortunately, along the way, they got attacked by an unknown creature👽👾. BB32018🚀 and BB32019🚀 eventually united and tried their best to escape the unknown creature💪🔥💀

When BB32018 & BB32019 were trying to fight the creature, it announced something📣

Attention citizen of 32018 and 32019! We're here to challenge you on the tournament you've never experienced before!👊👊
Prepare your team for facing the awesome, cool, and unique games from all around the galaxy!🌞🌚🌎

Get ready for World Tournament and

The battle was full of obstacles. But this battle is what made BB32018🚀 & BB32019🚀 feel the need to become united👥🏁

Because honestly, i don't know the exact story behind this tournament XD

and this is my real story:

We must assembled at 6.30 AM in Lapangan Bali. There, Our mentor told us what we should do and told us the rules of the game. We must spoke English during the game. However, many students disobeyed that rules including me XD. Many mentors sometimes spoke Indonesian Language.

The game began! First, we should solved the clues that our mentor gave. The first clues are :
1. The place to park your vehicle before you eat.
2. A place to park your vehicle in front of historical building.
3. Centuuri is our name and our pride.

After we solved the clues (honestly, we didn't really solved the clue. Our mentor told us the place XD), we were going to the place to began the first game. The first place is class IX.

There, we played fighting game. 3 delegetions from #32019 and 3 delegetions from #32018. There are 3 rounds, the first round winned by us, #32019. The second and the third round winned by our seniors, #32018. Suddenly our senior challanged us for the bonus round. We accepted it, but it's not calculated in the game. The bonus round winned by us, so the scores are 2-2. Because it's just a bonus game, we stilled lose. The prize belonged to #32018.

The next clue is "we create art that you feel with your ears". Don't worry, for this clue, we solved it by ourselves XD. The next place is Taman Musik. If you ask me why? It is because art that you feel with your ears is music, and in indonesia "music" is "musik. "Taman Musik" in English is "Music Park". Okay, backto the topic, the lesson was over XD. In Taman Musik, we played "Rank 2nd". To win this game, we should be rank 2nd not be the first. This game winned by Faza, my classmate. So, the prize belonged to us. Please pay attention and count our prizes till the end of the story, okay? I will give you a

After that, we went to the next place. But first, we should solved the next clue, that is "even tho I'm small and isolated, I'm green and loud when you talk". For this clue, our senior that solved it. The next place is Bangsal. Bangsal is indoor place that green. It was located in Lapangan Bali. Bangsal is used for playing badminton. Every sound in that place will be louder. In Bangsal, we played PES. I really like that game, but i'm not the delegations of my class because i couldn't played it with a joystick. You don't know PES? Seriously? You must searched it in google! It was a cool game!

Back to the main topic XD. The result of the game is DRAW. So, both of us got the prizes.

By the way, have I told you what the prizes is? No? I'm sorry XD 😅. The prizes is not an expensive things, and it's not important either. Curious huh? No? Okay, i'm not curious either XD. However, i will tell you. The prize is..... a piece of.....styrofoam 😐. A styrofoam that had an unknown picture on there. Common guys, be serious, it's not just a styrofoam, but it was a piece of puzzle! Not very important right? 😅

BACK TO THE TOPIC!

After finished, We went to the next place with the next clue. The clue is "like a dessert, I'm dry but i create lots of the champion on the right". We solved it, we solved all of the clues (except the first one 😅). The next place is also in Lapangan Bali. I don't know what it was, but it looks like a field to play football. The place is in the side of the field. There we should beat our senior on Flappy Bird Game. You know that game right? Ofc yes, it's a popular game in 2015. There were 10 delegations from each team. To win this game, we should get a high score. Every delegation played it two times, each player just had 15 second to play it and get as many scores as possible. There are some problem while played it. When our seniors played, suddenly the tab was locked, and the owner of the tab unlocked it. A few minutes later, there is a problem with my team and it more serious than last problem. When they played, suddenly the phone turned off. That is because the phone is out of power. So, the game ended early than we thought. The winner is my team.

The next place with the next clue! The clue is likes the last clue, "like a dessert, I'm dry but i create lots of the champion on the left". The different just between right and left. The place is the football field that i told you before.

There, we played a funny game. I didn't know what they called it. In this game we wear a cloth and tied it on each player's hand. To win this game we should take another player's cloth. When the players lose their cloth, they must out of the game. For this game, the winner was #32018, our seniors with the the final scores: 10-9.

We went to the next place. The clue is "like a ping pong table, only bigger. Oh and i have rings". The place was near the last place. It was in Lapangan Bali either. I didn't know what it called. What i knew was that the place was commonly used to play basketball. There we played.... honestly, i didn't really know the game XD. The result was draw. We both got the prizes.

We went to the next clue that is "i was born before photography". The place was quite far from our school and Lapangan Bali. it was Taman Tongkeng. I didn't know that place either. FYI i lived in Cimahi not in Bandung, and this was the first time i study in Bandung. So, i don't know well about many places in Bandung and don't call me dumb .-.


There, we must build a robot. It was not actually a robot, just a cardboard. We must made a robot with that kind of stuff, i mean looks like a robot, not real robot o.o . I'm confuse right now @.@ . The winner was my team, #32019. The winner could attack the aliens there. Honestly, i didn't join the battle. When my team was attacking the aliens, my friend and me bought some food XD. I was hungry that time, and attacked the aliens just wasted my energy XD, Don't judge me! I am a human too, I am hungry....sometimes ALWAYS X'D. If you meet me and buy me some foods, i will appreciate it(not with money ofc) XD.



 Next Place and The Last Place!
The clue is "i make art from lights". The clue means is "photo". In Indonesian, "photo" is "foto". So, the last place is Taman Foto. You remember what "Taman" in English right? I already told you before -_- scroll up!

When we arrived at Taman Foto, it was break time. So, i bought some food again XD. After we had out break, we began the game again. The game was "twister"! Just search it in google if you don't know it XD. I didn't pay attention at this game, so i didn't know the result XD. Wait a minute, i will ask it to my friends.....

So... they don't notice me -_- , welcome to my class! Nobody will notice you! XD JK, you must enjoy you class guys!
Let's say the result was draw, so we both got the prizes XD.

Yeah. that was the last place, but not the last game! After the twister game finished, we back to Lapangan Bali. In Lapangan Bali, we must assemble as a team with our same generation #32019 and attack the aliens there with water balloons. Same as generation #32018, they must attack it too. The one who hit the alien with water balloons, they get a prize from the alien. My classmates got 3 prizes from this game.



After that, each generation must rebuild piece by piece of the prizes to a huge picture. The one that fastest finished the puzzle or the closer one with the original picture win. Nobody finished the puzzle because the time was out. So, the judge pick the winner that closer one. The winner was..... My Generation #32019!


The event was end, everyone were going home. Except me and my classmates. We had another event. That was "MAKRAB". I think you don't really curious about my activities after this event. Though nobody will read this either -_-. I hope all of my honesty doesn't make the committees of the event mad XD. Please don't tell them X"D, appreciate my honesty.
